1. Overview

Tenant is a rental management platform designed to empower landlords and tenants with semi-automated tools for efficient property management. Our mission is to provide smart tools without unnecessary automation.

2. Eligibility

To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using Tenant, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use the platform in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not misuse the service or access it using unauthorized means.

4. Data Privacy

We value your privacy and protect your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Tenant operates on a subscription model based on the number of units and properties you manage. A valid subscription is required for full access to features, including data entry, updates, and record modifications.

• If your subscription is inactive or expired, you will retain read-only access to your data. You will not be able to add, update, or delete any records until your subscription is renewed.
• Certain optional services, such as data export and account closure with PDF backup, incur a one-time charge of INR 499.00.
• All payments are final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Tenant platform, including logos, software, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Tenant and may not be used without explicit permission.

8. Account Closure Policy

You may request closure of your account at any time. Upon such a request:

• We will generate a detailed PDF report of your data, including property details, transaction history, tenant records, and utility logs.
• This report will be shared with you securely within 48 hours after payment of a one-time charge of INR 499.
• Once the report is delivered, your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems, including backups.
• This action is final and cannot be undone.

9. Limitation of Liability

Tenant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform.

10. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our platform for violation of these terms or any misuse of services.
